Korenix is pleased to release the new WES2009-EN operating system in its JetBox 8150 series Intel Atom-based computers aiming to ensure a flexible and a more user-friendly system development for field site deployments. The JetBox 8150 with an upgraded software provides even more flexibility for programmers by offering latest Microsoft .Net framework 3.5 service pack1. In addition, it also upgrades Windows media player to version 11, as a result providing more possibilities for storing digital media and ensuring easier accessibility.
Users can store the WES2009 in the CompactFlash card or SATA Hard Drive of the JetBox 8150. The software is available in English, though different languages can be supported based on customer’s request.
The JetBox 8150 is a VIA Eden-based industrial communication PC designed with a system memory of 1GB DDRII RAM and a built-in media processor for enhancing multimedia performance. The computer has a compact enclosure with a rich interface, including RJ-45 Ethernet ports, RS-232 and RS-232/ 422/ 485 serial ports, USB and VGA, high resolution audio as well as web server services which make the devices excellent front end solutions to best fit in various industrial network infrastructures. To make the deployment of JetBox 8150 more flexible and to improve its usability for users, it provides Windows XP and Linux Fedora 10 operating systems.
All of these, in addition to the rugged design with vibration and shock resistance and -15~70degC wide operating temperature, make the JetBox 8150 series perfect communication solutions in harsh industrial environments!
