The JSB-542 is a USB data acquisition module that provides 4 channels 24bit counters that each can configured as 1 of 5 types of counters. The five types are Frequency, Period, Time between pulses, Quadrature and Event counter. Period and time counters have a selectable time base 1Mhz to 100Mhz. Frequency counter has selectable gate times from 1 millisecond to 2 seconds. The quadrature counter supports both indexed and non-indexed quadrature encoders in a X1, X2 or X4 count mode. Modules are available with on board terminal block (screw type) connections or the Molex KK series of 2 piece pluggable connectors. Easy to use software interface includes a windows driver and a DLL or Class Library API. Linux[] support disk is also available.
