CompactLogix 1768-L43 controller combines motion and sequential control into a single, integrated multitasking platform that controls up to four axes of motion. Used in material handling, packaging, and metal forming applications, the controller supports a range of networks including DeviceNet, ControlNet and EtherNet/IP, enabling flow of information from the smallest device through the enterprise business system. Platform does not need a battery and supports removable CompactFlash memory that can be used as a program and firmware storage area to archive projects that can be loaded to multiple controllers. Controller supports 38 embedded motion instructions and pre-loaded motion parameters. It uses RSLogix 5000 programming software so that users can move from one Logix application to another with no additional training.
