May 2008 – Schaffner EMC, a leading provider of EMI/RFI components and solutions for power quality, has named Allied Electronics as Distributor of the Year during the EDS trade show awards reception on May 6th in Las Vegas, NV. By analyzing point of sale (POS) data supplied by its distribution network, Schaffner determines the annual recipient based on an overall increase in sales as compared to the previous year.

Allied Electronics, a distributor of electronic components and electro-mechanical products, was awarded Distributor of the Year for its overall sales growth of 34% over last years sales. In addition to receiving Distributor of the Year, Allied has also been Schaffners fastest growing distributor for the past five years.
