The Industrial Automation Group of Advantech is honored to announce that the EKI-2526PI PoE Industrial Ethernet switch has received Application of Electronic Technique’s (ATE) “Best Product of 2009” award in the Network and Communication category. EKI-2526PI was chosen for its reliable and easy-to-use capabilities for industrial applications.

The EKI-2526PI is a 6-port PoE industrial Ethernet switch with 4 x PoE ports which are classified as power source equipments (PSE). Advantech’s EKI PoE switches can be used to power IEEE802.3af compliant powered devices by Ethernet cable and eliminates the need for additional power wiring.

The EKI-2526PI comes with an IP30 rated metal housing and is extremely rugged to protect against the harsh conditions of industrial environments. Its additional Ethernet port allows users to setup a daisy chain topology, providing versatile network architectures for industrial applications. Its wide operating temperature range (-40 ~ 75° C) allows it to operate reliably even in the most extreme environments.
