AMIRIX Systems Inc., a leading provider of custom embedded systems and electronic design services for product development, announced today that they will deliver 75 AP1100 PCI Platform Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) Development Boards to the System-on-Chip Research Network (SOCRN) managed by the Canadian Microelectronics Corporation (CMC) for distribution to universities across Canada. This technology will increase the ability of researchers to demonstrate microsystems concepts, validate research in a systems context and accelerate the commercial potential of their work. The boards will be available in over 20 university laboratories this fall.
