Korenix Launches JetBox 5432-w, the embedded Programmable Linux[
] Ready VPN platform designed with serial interfaces and -40~80℃ wide operating temperature range to deliver maximum flexibility to IPC providers in industrial environments. In addition to its rich interface with LAN, WAN and USB ports, the Layer3 computer is equipped with 4 additional RS232/422/485 serial ports which will allow users to connect and through Ethernet remotely manage access and security devices, including card readers, cameras, speakers etc.
The computer provides dynamic Layer3 routing protocols such as OSPF, RIP, DVMRP and IPv6 to efficiently manage extended network groups in industrial environments. IPC providers can benefit from the VPN functionality of the system to expand networking capabilities and reduce system costs by establishing long-distance and secured network connections over WAN. In addition to the VPN functionality, the JetBox 5432-w series also incorporates DMVPN protocol, which allows effectively building and managing dynamic secure overlay networks.
The Linux based computer is a performance optimized system, designed to provide advanced network performance with easy network maintenance and fast remote access in front-end industrial control applications. The quick time-to-market tool – Linux SDK is also provided for users to develop programmable front-end controller applications in industrial networks.
Combining QoS and port-based VLAN switch management features to the IP31 grade rugged fanless design with vibration/shock resistance and -40~80℃ op. temperature, the JetBox 5432-w programmable computers provide reliable, high quality data transmission of front-end controller systems under harsh industrial environments.
