Phoenix Contacts newest mobile product demonstration shows how to get the most mileage out of automation. The fully restored and customized 1970 El Camino displays a wide range of industrial components and for IP67 applications.

Dubbed for its namesake FieldLine I/O, the dazzling green “FL Camino” features an active demonstration of machine-mount and Bluetooth I/O, DUPLICON power distribution, wireless Ethernet, industrial PCs, embedded controllers and heavy-duty connectors for power and data. But far from being just another industrial product demonstration, the FL Camino also sports 18-inch rims, GPS navigation, twin DVDs, DirecTV, XM satellite , a 32-inch HDTV, Wii™ gaming system and a 48,0000-BTU grill.

The FL Camino is scheduled to visit industry tradeshows and Phoenix Contact distributors across the U.S. However, since its unique capabilities make the FL Camino the ultimate tailgating , the car will also attend major sporting events, starting with the USC-Ohio State football game on Sept. 12 in Columbus, Ohio.
